Job Title: Senior Architect
Reports To (Job Title): Design Manager
Project Location: Muscat, Oman
The Senior Architect will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of the architectural design for the project to ensure this is in line with the client’s requirements and budget.
Duties & Responsibilities/Deliverables:
- Collaborate with other members of the design team, including engineers, drafters, and other architects to produce high-quality design and construction documents.
- Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
- Manage and mentor junior architects, providing guidance and support throughout the design process.
- Manage the design process from conception to completion, ensuring that project elements are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
- Provide expert guidance and advice on building codes, regulations, and zoning laws to ensure that all designs comply with local and international standards.
- Review and approve construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and material selections.
- Stay up to date with the latest architectural trends, materials, and technologies to ensure that our designs are innovative and cutting-edge.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- At least 10 years of experience in architectural design, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Skills & Person Specification:
- A strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Creative thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team of junior architects.
