Line Manager (Job Title): Director Operations

Job Summary:

The AI Trainer will lead the design and delivery of AI-focused learning programs for SAH employees. This role will train teams on Microsoft Copilot, AI Agents, Power BI, and automation tools within the Microsoft 365 environment. The position supports SAH’s digital transformation objectives by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and enable staff to adopt AI-driven practices across departments.

Duties & Responsibilities/Deliverables:

AI Training & Development

  • Develop, deliver, and maintain AI training programs for employees across all SAH departments.
  • Conduct hands-on training on Microsoft Copilot in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Train users on prompt engineering, AI-assisted content creation, and productivity workflows.
  • Prepare customized departmental learning modules (Admin, HR, HSE, Planning, Commercial, Engineering).
  • Develop micro-learning materials, tutorials, step-by-step guides, and internal help resources.

AI Agents & Automation

  • Build and deploy simple AI Agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio for internal workflows.
  • Support teams in designing automated processes using Power Automate.
  • Assist in integrating AI tools with SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, and MS365 applications.
  • Guide departments in adopting low-code/no-code automation solutions.

Data Analysis & Power BI Integration

  • Assist departments in using Power BI combined with AI for reporting and decision-making.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and data models to support operational improvements.
  • Train end-users to interpret data insights and apply them to daily operations.

Digital Transformation Support

  • Identify opportunities for AI-driven process improvements across SAH.
  • Work with department heads to understand operational pain points and recommend AI-enabled solutions.
  • Support the organization in building internal digital capability aligned with Oman Vision 2040.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Theatre Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in theatre system installation with a strong technical background. (15 years for Diploma holders.)
  • Proven experience in new theatre builds, renovations, or system installations is highly preferred.

Monitoring, Support & Evaluation

  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback.
  • Provide post-training support, troubleshooting, and refresher sessions.
  • Track adoption levels and prepare reports for management on progress and impact.

Compliance & Best Practices

  • Promote ethical and responsible AI usage aligned with SAH policies.
  • Ensure safe handling of data and secure use of AI applications.
  • Stay updated on emerging AI tools, trends, and Microsoft ecosystem updates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in AI, Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, AI tools, and MS365 ecosystem.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, and workflow automation.
  • Experience in creating or training AI Agents (Copilot Studio or similar).
  • Ability to simplify technical topics for non-technical staff.
  • Prior training or corporate learning experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
